TEA TREE ESSENTIAL

Tea tree essential oil, also known as Melaleuca oil, is extracted from the Australian Tea Tree, Melaleuca Alternifolia. It has been used for centuries in Australia and is touted as being a “miracle oil” for aid in healing a multitude of skin issues. It has a fresh, slightly medicinal aroma, pleasant to the senses. An added blend of rosemary and lavender with a slurried oatmeal green and tulsi tea serve the main note of tea tree well in further soothing the skin, the largest organ of the body. Whole oats, mildly exfoliating, are suitable for all skin types & impart moisturizing, soothing, conditioning and nourishing qualities, significantly improving skin dryness and roughness. The oatmeal slurry lends its ‘milky’ magic as a soothing softener. Dried oregano is added for a bit of color & for its anti-bacterial qualities. The last added touch is extra virgin olive oil with its antioxidants - known for its ability to reach deep into the pores to help remove dead skin cells, dirt, and even blackheads. While no definite claims can be made medically or otherwise for this best-seller, this refreshing experience is sure to make an impression and become an essential.

All bars are individually hand poured so may vary slightly in color, size and shape from batch to batch and therefore may differ from the actual photos shown. However,
they measure 3.25 inches x 2.25 inches x 1 inch (like a deck of cards) and weigh approximately 5 ounces.

Tulsi tea is popularly known for its medicinal properties - has antioxidant properties that fight free radical damage, has antibacterial properties that keep the harmful bacteria at bay - it also contains vitamins A, C, K and E that nourish the skin.

Tea tree essential oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antibacterial, as well as anti-microbial, known as a “miracle oil” in Australia.

Whole oats ease itching and irritation on the skin, so it often serves as a gentle, soothing topical treatment.

Rosemary essential oil is great for relieving skin congestion. It helps gently detox the skin by purifying it from deep within the pores and driving out stale sebum, dead cells, -dirt, grime, pollution, germs and other impurities - has all the “anti” qualities too.

Lavender essential oil - as an antioxidant may help protect the skin against environmental stressors, with a distinct sweet, floral smell that calms the nerves also.

Extra virgin olive oil is added as an extra emollient, a great source of natural moisturizing agents, vitamins, and minerals, also anti-aging with its antioxidants.

Dried oregano is part of the mint family - an herb with a stronger scent when dried than fresh - high in vitamin C (antioxidant) - has wonderful medicinal properties, making it one of the most included herbs in popular home remedies across the world.

Trying to keep the products as natural as possible, I chose to create them with the addition of beneficial pure essential “oils”- which are potent plant based extractions from leaves, stems, roots or flowers of the plant or tree (that must be used appropriately, not to be used by those pregnant as a precaution).

Test soap on inside wrist if prone to sensitivity and wait 24 hours before full use.

These bars are made with an all glycerin soap base which is part of the regular lye soap making process. Glycerin’s main job is to pull and keep moisture close to itself which is why it is so moisturizing to the skin. However, due to its draw to moisture it can not be left sitting in water because it will absorb it and turn the whole bar gelatinous. Please remove to a soap dish or from direct constant contact with water.
